Vietnam pork prices stabilize between 57,000 and 59,000 VND/kg

Pork prices in Vietnam have remained stable following the recent holiday period, with market rates fluctuating between 57,000 and 59,000 VND per kilogram. The market is currently facing pressure from low purchasing power and competition from inexpensive imported meat.

In Northern Vietnam, prices are at their highest nationwide, ranging from 58,000 to 59,000 VND/kg. Provinces such as Hanoi, Hai Phong, and Quang Ninh are seeing rates at the top end of 59,000 VND/kg. This follows a decline from the 60,000 VND/kg mark seen earlier in September.

In the Central and Central Highlands regions, prices are holding steady between 57,000 and 58,000 VND/kg. Meanwhile, Southern Vietnam shows similar stability, with prices ranging from 57,000 to 58,000 VND/kg across provinces like Dong Nai, Ho Chi Minh City, and Can Tho.
