The city of Hanoi is finalising arrangements for the 2026 high‑school graduation exam, expecting 129,173 candidates – an increase of more than 5,000 from the previous year. Authorities have designated 222 testing locations with 5,899 examination rooms and are conducting security checks on venues, equipment and network connections to prevent electronic cheating. Officials emphasised strict sealing of exam papers and support measures for students facing illness or other difficulties.

In Da Nang, over 35,500 students are slated to sit the same exam. The province has set up 99 testing sites with 1,767 rooms. High‑school seniors report intense study routines, using libraries and peer groups to prepare while families provide additional support. Both cities report heightened anxiety among examinees as the test date approaches.
