Vietnam Prime Minister advances diplomacy at BRICS Summit and bilateral meetings
Prime Minister Le Minh Hung concluded a significant diplomatic mission to India on September 13, where he attended the 18th BRICS Summit. During the summit, the Prime Minister emphasized Vietnam's commitment to working with BRICS to foster peace, prosperity, and sustainable development.
In bilateral discussions with the Indian Prime Minister, both nations worked to implement the Enhanced Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. Key proposals included the establishment of economic corridors and strategic connectivity across technology, land, rail, air, and sea, as well as cooperation in defense industry and military trade.
Additionally, Prime Minister Le Minh Hung met with King Maha Vajiralongkorn of Thailand during the King's historic visit to Vietnam. These diplomatic activities are intended to strengthen political trust and cultural ties between Vietnam and its regional neighbors, India and Thailand.
