Vietnam private sector forums push regulatory reforms and green‑digital transition

On August 7, 2026, the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Vietnam partnered with the Dong Nai city government for a local dialogue within the Vietnam Private Sector Forum 2026. Participants, including Chairman Đặng Hồng Anh, highlighted the need to remove procedural bottlenecks, improve investment‑experience design, and integrate local firms into foreign‑direct‑investment supply chains through digital transformation and shared data platforms.

The following day, the Sustainable Development Dialogue was held at Nestlé Vietnam’s Bong Sen factory in Hung Yen. Vice‑chairman of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Nguyễn Quang Vinh, called for stronger collaboration among businesses, local authorities and the state to accelerate Vietnam’s green and digital transition. He stressed that sustainability must become a core competitive driver, requiring transparent investment environments, resilient infrastructure, and coordinated policy reforms.

Both events underscored a broader push for institutional reforms, innovation ecosystems, and a more resilient, technology‑driven economy in Vietnam.
