Vietnam promotes cultural heritage through global festivals and local preservation

Vietnam is actively promoting its cultural heritage through various international and domestic initiatives. In Hanoi, preparations are underway for the 2026 World Cultural Festival, which aims to foster international exchange and promote cultural industries. Other cultural efforts include the preservation of the Oc Eo civilization at Chot Mat Tower in Tay Ninh province and the revitalization of 'to he', a traditional rice paste toy craft led by artisan Dang Van Hau.

On the international stage, the Soul of Vietnam Festival returned to Victoria, Canada, for its second year. Founded by Will Nguyen, the event drew over 2,000 attendees to the city's Inner Harbour, offering Vietnamese cuisine, live performances, and fashion to showcase the country's 4,000-year history and regional diversity.
