Vietnam promotes maternal nutrition and reproductive health awareness
In Vietnam, health initiatives are focusing on maternal nutrition and reproductive health awareness. Ajinomoto Vietnam, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health's National Institute of Nutrition and the Department of Mother and Child, has been implementing nutrition programs since 2020. These programs provide scientific tools, including a nutritional menu software featuring over 2,000 dishes, to help pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, and children aged 7-60 months maintain balanced diets.
Additionally, a school meal project launched in 2017 supports primary school students by providing balanced meal plans. Separately, the Ministry of Health organized a rally at Hanoi Medical University to observe World Contraception Day. The event emphasized the importance of proactive contraceptive choices to improve population quality, urging individuals to rely on scientific evidence rather than unverified online information when making reproductive health decisions.
