Vietnam proposes new handling of surplus state assets
Vietnam's Ministry of Finance has proposed a review and handling process for surplus headquarters and land assets in accordance with new regulations. This initiative aims to optimize the use of state-owned property following administrative restructuring.
In Quang Ninh province, authorities are focusing on the effective management of redundant office buildings and land. Many facilities have been reassigned to different units, repurposed for new functions, or converted to serve community needs. For example, in Mong Cai, several surplus sites have been managed through transfers, functional conversions, or leasing arrangements to prevent waste and generate resources for socio-economic development.
