Vietnam provinces develop cultural and green tourism

Tourism sectors in Ha Tinh and Quang Tri provinces are focusing on diversifying offerings to promote sustainable growth and mitigate seasonal fluctuations.

In Ha Tinh, experts suggest shifting focus toward cultural, spiritual, and ecological tourism during the autumn and winter months. Key assets include the heritage of poet Nguyen Du, the Hai Thuong Lan Ong relic site, Huong Tich Pagoda, and the Dong Loc Junction. Additionally, the Ngan Troi - Vu Quang ecological area and local orange orchards offer potential for camping, trekking, and agricultural experiences.

In Quang Tri, the emphasis is on “green tourism” that integrates local landscapes like rice fields, coffee hills in Khe Sanh, and lakes into economic ecosystems. By transforming agricultural activities—such as fishing or visiting orchards—into tourist experiences, the region aims to create livelihoods that encourage residents to preserve their natural and cultural heritage.
