Vietnam Publishes Fidel Castro Works Collection for Cuba

On 5 August 2026, Vietnam’s publishing house Nhà xuất bản Chính trị Quốc gia Sự thật, in partnership with the Central Propaganda Department, held a ceremony in Hanoi to launch a 24‑volume Spanish‑language collection titled “Tuyển tập các tác phẩm chọn lọc của Fidel Castro Ruz.” The anthology gathers speeches, writings, interviews and key documents of Fidel Castro Ruz from 1940 to 2016, totaling nearly 15 000 pages. The launch coincides with the centenary of Castro’s birth (13 August 1926). About 3 000 copies will be sent as gifts to Cuba, a gesture praised by Cuban ambassador Rogelio Polanco Fuentes as a sign of deep friendship and solidarity between the two peoples. The event highlighted the long‑standing cultural and diplomatic ties between Vietnam and Cuba.
