Vietnam recalls Diary Hair Perfume due to labeling violations

The Drug Administration of Vietnam, under the Ministry of Health, has ordered a nationwide suspension and recall of the hair care product ‘Diary Hair Perfume With Vitamin Love Story In Seoul’. The recall was initiated because the product's labeling listed uses that do not align with its approved documentation or its actual nature.

Paltac Vietnam Co., Ltd. is the entity responsible for bringing the product to market. The product, which was advertised on e-commerce platforms as a hair fragrance that provides vitamins for nourishment, must be immediately ceased from sale and use by all businesses and consumers.

Local health departments have been instructed to oversee the recall and ensure compliance. If the labeling violations cannot be corrected by removing the non-compliant labels, the products must be destroyed according to regulations. Paltac Vietnam is required to report the results of the recall to the Drug Administration by October 25, 2026.
