Vietnam recalls various hygiene and cosmetic products nationwide

The Drug Administration of Vietnam has issued a nationwide suspension and recall for several cosmetic products, including feminine hygiene solutions, shampoos, body washes, and hand soaps, due to regulatory violations.

Victory Herbal feminine hygiene solution (300ml bottle) produced by Chien Thang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. in Nghe An province is being recalled because it failed to meet microbial limit quality standards. The Drug Administration has requested the Nghe An Department of Health to oversee the destruction of the non-compliant batch and investigate the company’s compliance with cosmetic management laws.

Additionally, five products manufactured by Bao Loi Cosmetics Co., Ltd. in Hai Phong have been recalled because their formulas do not match their registered declaration dossiers. These include CURIA shampoo. Four other products under the VLIACARE brand—comprising body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and hand soap—distributed by Nhat Linh Glow Beauty Co., Ltd. are also subject to the recall and destruction order.
