Vietnam recovers hundreds of martyr remains in Ho Chi Minh City and Quang Tri
Efforts to recover the remains of war martyrs are progressing in several regions of Vietnam. In Ho Chi Minh City, the Ho Chi Minh City Command has recovered 713 sets of martyr remains at Le Thi Rieng Park since June 23. Among these, 304 sets included personal artifacts. The search, which focuses on areas related to the 1968 Tet Offensive, has expanded into Area B of the park, involving heavy machinery to process large volumes of soil.
Simultaneously, in Quang Tri province, search teams have recovered 13 sets of remains in the Bai Dinh village area of Dan Hoa commune. Recent discoveries in the local cajeput forest include remains accompanied by artifacts such as military buttons, belts, and coffin nails. The recovered remains have been transferred for proper care and ritual services according to regulations.
