Vietnam regulator fines DIG and EVNGENCO3 over bond misuse and tax violations

The State Securities Inspectorate fined DIC Corp (ticker DIG) 175 million VND after the company used over 520 billion VND of bond proceeds for purposes other than the approved Long Tân tourism‑city project, ordering the firm to recall the bonds and repay investors within 15 days.

In a separate enforcement action, the tax authority imposed penalties exceeding 9 billion VND on several listed firms, including EVNGENCO3 (more than 2.4 billion VND fine plus 6.9 billion VND in late payments), Thang Long Investment Group (≈1.6 billion VND total) and Tan Cang Logistics (≈1.425 billion VND total) for filing inaccurate tax declarations and delayed settlements.
