Vietnam secures sponsors and rewards for Asian Games 20 delegation
The Vietnam Sports Administration and the Vietnamese Olympic Committee have secured additional resources for the national delegation participating in the 20th Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan. Suntory PepsiCo Vietnam, through its Revive brand, and Vietcontent have signed a cooperation agreement to support the athletes.
Nguyen Danh Hoang Viet, Director of the Vietnam Sports Administration, announced planned cash rewards for medalists to encourage performance. Athletes winning a gold medal are expected to receive 100 million VND, silver medalists 50 million VND, and bronze medalists between 20-30 million VND. These figures may increase based on additional socialized funding.
The Vietnamese delegation will compete in various disciplines, including athletics, swimming, shooting, rowing, football, and esports. The national goal for this edition of the Asian Games is to secure between 4 and 6 gold medals.
