Vietnam sets environmental and climate change targets through 2045

Vietnam is implementing new strategic frameworks for environmental protection and climate change adaptation. Party General Secretary and State President To Lam has promulgated Conclusion No. 75-KL/TW, issued by the third plenum of the 14th Party Central Committee.

The document establishes specific targets for 2030, focusing on strengthening environmental management, disaster prevention, and response to protect the lives, health, and livelihoods of the population. Looking toward 2045, the vision aims to achieve a healthy living environment in harmony with nature through sustainable development and a modern environmental governance system.

Additionally, the reports commemorate the 81st anniversary of the August Revolution of 1945. This historical event, led by President Ho Chi Minh and the Party, is cited as the foundation for the country's current socio-economic era.
