Vietnam strengthens political cooperation with Brazil

A delegation from the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV), led by Le Hong Quang, conducted a two-day working visit to Brazil to strengthen bilateral cooperation. The visit follows the elevation of Vietnam-Brazil relations to a Strategic Partnership in November 2024.

During meetings with the Communist Party of Brazil (PCdoB), leaders discussed historical solidarity and the potential for cooperation in science and technology. The PCdoB, which holds leadership within Brazil’s Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, identified these sectors as key pillars for future development between the two nations.

Representatives also met with the Workers' Party (PT), the political force of President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva. Discussions emphasized that the relationship between Brazil and Vietnam is entering a new stage characterized by numerous opportunities for growth and partnership.
