Vietnam and Russia held a Deputy Foreign Minister-level political consultation to reinforce their Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. Vietnamese Deputy Foreign Minister Lê Thị Thu Hằng reaffirmed Russia as one of Vietnam’s most important partners, citing historical support from the former Soviet Union as a foundation for cooperation in a new era.
