Vietnam successfully tests PTH-152 and PTH-130 self-propelled guns

Vietnam has successfully completed several rounds of testing for two domestically developed self-propelled artillery systems: the PTH-152 and the PTH-130. The testing included mobility trials and firing tests, with results meeting the required technical standards.

The PTH-152 system was led by Viettel High Technology Corporation, while the PTH-130 was researched and manufactured by the Military Technical Academy. A delegation from the Ministry of National Defence, led by Deputy Minister Senior Lieutenant General Pham Hoai Nam, inspected the research, design, and manufacturing results.

Units are currently submitting configurations and basic technical-combat features to the General Staff for approval. Efforts are ongoing to finalize the products to ensure stability and reliability before formal evaluation and acceptance for deployment to the Artillery-Missile Command.
