Vietnam Tourism Day 2026 connects international buyers with local travel businesses

Vietnam Tourism Day 2026 officially opened in Gia Lai, bringing together approximately 550 delegates, including government leaders, industry associations, and tourism enterprises. Organized by the Vietnam Tourism Association in coordination with the Gia Lai People's Committee, the event focuses on trade promotion and strengthening cooperation between Vietnamese travel businesses and international partners.

A key component of the event is a famtrip involving 110 international travel buyers from countries including the Philippines, India, Thailand, Malaysia, Russia, South Korea, and CIS nations. These buyers are surveying tourism products and routes spanning from Da Nang and Khanh Hoa to the highlands of Gia Lai to better understand Vietnam's supply capacity.

In related industry news, Vietravel's Khanh Hoa branch has launched its 'Golden Season' autumn promotion running from August 15 to October 31, 2026. The program offers various discounts for early bookings on international tours to Europe, the UK, Russia, the Americas, Japan, Australia, China, and South Korea. Domestic tour incentives are also available for groups, alongside a price-lock policy that allows travelers to secure current rates for up to 12 months with full payment.
