Vietnam advances cultural industry laws and regional development

Vietnam is advancing several legislative and regional development initiatives. The National Assembly Standing Committee recently reviewed the draft Law on Cultural Industry Development, which aims to create a legal framework to boost creativity, digital transformation, and international integration in the cultural sector.

In preparation for APEC 2027, Khanh Hoa province held training sessions for media personnel to ensure effective communication of Vietnam's role as host. Meanwhile, Gia Lai province is shifting its tourism strategy toward creating a comprehensive ecosystem rather than isolated events, particularly in anticipation of hosting the National Tourism Year in 2026.

On the administrative front, the Vietnam Women's Union conducted training on digitalizing Party administrative procedures. In Quang Tri, local authorities held forums to gather public input on improving governance and public services, while Phu Tho province held dialogues with businesses to resolve investment obstacles and improve the local business environment.
