Vietnam workforce shows high AI adoption rates

According to PwC’s Global Workforce Hopes and Fears 2025 survey, AI adoption in Vietnam is significantly higher than the global average. Out of 1,040 workers surveyed, 83% use AI in their work, compared to a global rate of 69%. Furthermore, 38% of Vietnamese workers use generative AI daily, while the global average is 14%. Approximately 90% of AI users in Vietnam report that the technology improves their productivity and output quality.

While AI serves as a powerful tool for tasks such as lesson planning, document comparison, and software development, experts warn of a “know-it-all hallucination” effect. This occurs when users mistake fluent AI responses for absolute truth without proper verification. As AI tools transition from mere assistants to decision-makers, the ability to verify information becomes critical to ensure accuracy and accountability.
