Vietnam Youth Union reviews 2026 Summer Volunteer Campaign

The Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union held a conference in Thai Nguyen to review the 2026 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign. The campaign, themed ‘Strongly innovating the methods of Union activities,’ successfully met all nine of its established targets.

Over 200,000 youth members participated across 40 provinces and cities, with a total budget of nearly 70 billion VND. Key activities included repairing infrastructure in border regions, supporting citizens with VNeID digital integration, environmental protection, and economic development initiatives. The campaign also implemented the project ‘Vietnam Youth Accompanying Children in Border Areas 2025–2030’ to support community security and sovereignty.

During the conference, leaders emphasized the need to prevent gaps in volunteer activities between peak periods and cautioned against prioritizing quantity over sustainable, high-quality impact.
