Vietnamese banks dominate Forbes Global 2000 with eight entries

Forbes Global 2000 2026 list includes eight Vietnamese banks, accounting for almost all firms from Vietnam on the ranking. Vietcombank leads the group at rank 890 worldwide, followed by BIDV (rank 967) and VietinBank (rank 1030). The banks together showcase strong revenue, profit and asset metrics, with Vietcombank reporting $5.21 billion in revenue and $1.37 billion profit, while BIDV posted $7.64 billion revenue and $1.18 billion profit. Private‑sector banks such as VPBank and Techcombank also feature, highlighting the sector’s prominence in Vietnam’s corporate landscape.
