Vietnamese banks honored at VOBA 2026 awards

Several Vietnamese financial institutions were recognized at the Vietnam Outstanding Banking Awards (VOBA) 2026, an annual event organized by IDG Vietnam in collaboration with the Vietnam Banks Association.

LPBank received honors in two categories. The bank was recognized for its LocPhat Pay digital ecosystem under the “Outstanding Innovative Products and Services” category. This platform integrates payment and cash flow management, allowing businesses to perform QR payments, track real-time transactions, and manage multiple points of sale. Additionally, LPBank was honored as an “Outstanding Bank for the Community.”

PVcomBank was also awarded the title of “Outstanding Bank for the Community.” The recognition highlights the bank's sustained social welfare efforts in healthcare, education, poverty reduction, and infrastructure development. Between 2020 and 2024, PVcomBank allocated nearly 150 billion VND to social security activities nationwide, with significant contributions continuing into 2025 and early 2026.
