In September 2026, the VNTAX 2026 ceremony in Hanoi recognized several Vietnamese corporations and financial institutions for their significant contributions to the national budget during the 2025 fiscal year. In the banking sector, MB surpassed the 10,000 billion VND milestone, ranking among the top five largest tax contributors, alongside Vietcombank, BIDV, Techcombank, and VietinBank. LPBank was also noted as a top private bank contributor. In the securities and insurance sectors, VPS Securities was recognized as the leading brokerage for tax contributions, while Bao Viet Group was honored as the largest insurance enterprise contributing to the state budget.

By October 2026, the focus shifted to the Vietnam Outstanding Banking Awards (VOBA) 2026. During this event, LPBank received honors for its LocPhat Pay digital ecosystem under the ‘Outstanding Innovative Products and Services’ category, as well as being named an ‘Outstanding Bank for the Community.’ PVcomBank was also recognized as an ‘Outstanding Bank for the Community’ for its social welfare efforts in healthcare, education, and poverty reduction, having allocated nearly 150 billion VND to social security activities between 2020 and 2024.
