Vietnamese banks roll out new cash‑reward programs

ABBank in Vietnam launched a "Refer a friend – Unlimited rewards" campaign that pays VND 40,000 to the referrer and VND 10,000 to the new user when the app is opened. The offer is unlimited in scope and can be increased through additional activities such as online savings deposits or purchase of savings certificates.

LPBank introduced an "An Khang" account for social‑welfare recipients, waiving many fees (card issuance, annual, SMS, withdrawal) and offering preferential loan rates. The service integrates the bank’s network with Vietnam Post to reach rural customers and allows direct receipt of pensions and benefits via the account.

Both initiatives aim to boost digital‑banking adoption and provide extra financial benefits to existing and new customers.
