Vietnamese enterprises face data security hurdles in AI adoption
A survey by Synology reveals that Vietnamese enterprises face significant data security and privacy challenges as they integrate artificial intelligence (AI) into their operations. While 91% of participants recognize that data infrastructure is crucial for AI-driven productivity, 56.7% identify data security and privacy as the primary obstacle to implementation.
There is a notable gap between security tool adoption and actual recovery capabilities. Although 97.6% of organizations have deployed data protection tools, only 19.1% feel confident in their ability to quickly recover from a ransomware attack while simultaneously protecting backup data.
Regarding infrastructure preferences, approximately 75% of respondents prioritize on-premises or hybrid cloud models. Additionally, 71.3% of participants consider enhancing data security a top priority when upgrading their technological frameworks.
