Vietnamese online gangster Tiến “bịp” gets 8‑year sentence for drug use
Two men identified as online gangster Nguyễn Thành Long, known as Tiến “bịp”, and Nguyễn Văn Tuấn were each sentenced to eight years in prison by the Hai Phòng City People's Court for organizing the illegal use of methamphetamine. The trial, held on 7 August 2026, detailed how the pair arranged a livestreamed drug session at Long’s home, during which police intervened and seized three bags of white crystal meth and related paraphernalia. Both defendants admitted the charges and expressed remorse. The court based its decision on the prosecution’s request and the evidence collected during the raid.
The case highlights ongoing law‑enforcement efforts against drug‑related activities in Vietnam’s northern coastal region.
