Vietnamese police issue remote fines to 759 vehicle owners

Police departments in several Vietnamese provinces have announced a list of 759 vehicle owners subject to remote traffic violation fines under Decree 168.

In Bac Ninh, authorities identified 563 cases of speeding occurring between August 17 and August 23, 2026. Hung Yen recorded 166 violations of road traffic order and safety laws during the same period, while Cao Bang detected 30 traffic violations between August 19 and August 25, 2026.

Authorities have advised vehicle owners to proactively check for violations using the VNeTraffic application managed by the Ministry of Public Security or via the official traffic police website. If violators fail to resolve these issues, provincial police will coordinate with local authorities where the owners reside or work to enforce penalties.
