Vietnamese universities expand international academic and research partnerships

University of Transport and Communications (UTH) and University of Science and Technology of Hanoi (USTH) are actively expanding their international cooperation networks through strategic missions to Russia, China, and Japan.

At the Russian University of Transport (RUT), UTH officials discussed enhancing collaboration in training, student and faculty exchanges, and joint research. Key areas of focus include smart transportation systems (ITS), logistics, multimodal transport, new construction materials, and the application of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) in infrastructure monitoring.

Simultaneously, USTH leadership conducted working trips to China and Japan. In China, discussions with Foshan University, Tsinghua SIGS, and Guangxi University centered on biotechnology, food technology, and life sciences, including plant science and drug development from botanical sources. In Japan, USTH engaged with Hiroshima University to further academic and research ties.
