Vietnam's 2026 high school graduation exam clarifies ID rules and offers student study advice

The Ministry of Education and Training announced that candidates for the 2026 national high school graduation exam may use a passport or other legal identification if they have lost or forgotten their citizen ID card. In such cases, students must report the loss to the exam venue supervisor and sign a commitment letter to be permitted to sit the exam. The exam will be held from 10 to 12 June 2026, with over 1.2 million candidates registered nationwide.

Dang Khanh Ly, the 2025 national English exam bronze medalist, shared effective preparation tips for the final days before the exam. She advises students to focus on reviewing errors, practicing past papers, and maintaining a regular sleep schedule rather than trying to learn new material. Ly also emphasizes a strategic approach to answering questions—complete easier items first and read prompts carefully to avoid careless mistakes.

These guidelines aim to ensure smooth exam administration and help students maximize their performance.
