Vietnam's 2026 High School Graduation Exam: preparation tips and ID loss guidance
The national high school graduation exam (THPT) will be held on 11‑12 June 2026, with more than one million candidates across Vietnam. Teachers advise students to concentrate on core curricula—derivatives, integrals, geometry, and other topics that consistently appear—rather than chasing unfamiliar question types. Emphasising solid understanding, effective time management and psychological stability is seen as key to achieving scores in the 8‑9 point range.
If a student loses their identity card shortly before the exam, the loss does not automatically disqualify them. Candidates must promptly inform their school or test centre, and the exam council will verify identity using registration records, photos, and other documents such as student ID cards, passports, or the exam admission notice. Visiting the local police to obtain a replacement or confirmation of personal details is also recommended. Early action helps avoid delays on test day and ensures the student's right to sit the exam.
