Vietnam's 2026 High School Graduation Exam sees over 1.2 million candidates

More than 1.2 million Vietnamese students sat for the 2026 high school graduation exam on 11‑12 June, the largest cohort to date. The Ministry of Education reported 1,223,776 registrants, with 98.45 % (1,204,806) registering online. About 2,487 test points were set up across nearly 50,000 classrooms, and roughly 200,000 teachers, staff and security personnel were mobilised to administer the exams.

The newspaper Thanh Nien released the English language paper and an answer‑guide supplement shortly after the morning session, and later provided a detailed solution booklet for the Economics and Law subject. Both guides were made available online and in printed form on 12‑13 June to help candidates review their performance.
