Some users praised the gesture as a warm show of parental care, while others argued it reflected over‑involvement for an 18‑year‑old student and questioned the child’s independence.

At the same time, many examinees voiced that the English section of the exam, lasting 50 minutes for 40 questions, did not provide enough time to read and analyse the passages. They reported feeling a “race against the clock” because the test required thorough reading comprehension, inference and information processing beyond basic grammar and vocabulary.
