Vietnam's Hanoi University of Technology admits 436 top candidates, Hong Bang sets 2026 cutoff scores

The Hanoi University of Technology announced that 436 candidates were directly admitted through its talent‑based admission stream for the 2026 intake. The group includes five international competition winners, 41 first‑place national awardees, 163 second‑place and 193 third‑place winners of the national student Olympiad. Scores for over 3,600 applicants were posted to personal accounts, with 53 achieving a perfect 100 / 100 and an average score of 80.95.

Separately, Hong Bang International University released its 2026 minimum admission scores for 43 undergraduate programmes. Most programmes require a minimum of 15 points under the high‑school exam track, with higher thresholds for health‑related fields (up to 700 points on the university‑wide assessment scale). The university detailed separate grade‑point requirements for the school‑record track and the national university‑wide assessment, and set registration deadlines for prospective students.
