Vietnam’s Đại Nam Tourist Complex Draws Crowds with Free Entry and Student Perks

The Đại Nam tourist complex in Vietnam has seen a surge of visitors since June 7, with crowds lining up for check‑ins, tours and entertainment. The park offers free admission for all guests and free tickets for children under 1 metre. A special programme lets students present a stamped certificate of achievement to receive a complimentary ski‑simulation experience and a choice of a beach‑side or zoo visit. Additional combo packages provide discounted access to multiple rides and attractions.

Owned by Đại Nam Joint Stock Company, founded by Huỳnh Uy Dũng and his wife Nguyễn Phương Hằng, the site spans about 450 ha and includes artificial sea, zoo, mountain areas, a temple complex and a large amusement park. The project, launched in 1999 with an investment of roughly VND 6 trillion, opened to the public on 11 September 2008 and continues to attract millions of visitors each year. On 24 September 2024, Nguyễn Phương Hằng was re‑appointed as Vice Chair of the Board and First Deputy General Director of the company.
