Vietnam's National Assembly Chairman Trần Thanh Mẫn Meets US and Malaysian Ambassadors

On 6 August 2026, Vietnam’s National Assembly Chairman Trần Thanh Mẫn received the newly appointed U.S. Ambassador to Vietnam, Jennifer Wicks, at the parliament building. The chairman praised her diplomatic experience and said Vietnam “always regards the United States as one of its top partners,” urging stronger legislative exchanges, economic cooperation and joint work in high‑technology sectors such as semiconductors, digital transformation and green energy.
