Vietnam's PVcomBank approves 12,000 billion dong capital increase

PVcomBank has been approved to raise its charter capital to 12,000 billion Vietnamese dong, enhancing its capital base and capacity within the Vietnamese banking sector.

On 21 July 2026, several Vietnamese banks published their JPY/VND exchange rates. Vietcombank listed cash‑buying at 156.19 VND per yen, transfer‑buying at 157.77 VND, and selling at 166.97 VND. Agribank showed cash‑buying at 157.78 VND, transfer‑buying at 158.41 VND, and selling at 166.31 VND. Other banks such as BIDV, SHB, HDBank, ACB, HSBC, VPBank, LPBank, MSB, MB and others posted rates in a similar range, generally between 155 VND and 170 VND per yen, reflecting slight variations across institutions.
