Vietnam's PVOIL partners with V‑Green to install 3,000 EV bike battery‑swap stations nationwide
On 7 May 2026, Vietnam Oil and Gas Group's retail arm PVOIL signed a strategic cooperation agreement with electric‑vehicle charging firm V‑Green. The deal targets the installation of more than 3,000 battery‑swap cabinets for VinFast electric scooters, plus related electric‑car charging points, at roughly 1,000 PVOIL fuel stations across the country.
The rollout will begin with surveys and deployments in May, aiming to have the full network of swap cabinets operational by June 2026. The partners previously launched about 400 combined charging stations and swap cabinets at PVOIL sites, which have generated positive business results. V‑Green currently runs around 150,000 EV‑car charging ports in 34 Vietnamese provinces, and the expansion is part of both companies' strategies to diversify energy services and support Vietnam’s transition to greener mobility.
