Vietnam's Thanh Hóa police issue 467 speed‑violation fines under Decree 168

From 1 May to 15 May 2026, traffic police in Thanh Hóa province used technical equipment to record 467 vehicles exceeding speed limits on National Highway 1. The violations, ranging from 5 km/h over the limit up to 35 km/h, were documented with photographs and notices were sent to the drivers for cold‑case fines under Decree 168. A public link was provided for motorists to look up their violations and pay the fines.

The enforcement reflects the province’s effort to curb speeding on a major national route and to ensure compliance with the recently updated traffic‑penalty regulations.
