Vietnam's V‑Green and VNPT launch nationwide EV charging and battery‑swap network

V‑Green, the global EV charging‑station developer, and Vietnam Post and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) signed a strategic agreement on 26 May in Hanoi. The partnership will see about 6,000 battery‑swap units and 100 fast‑charging stations installed at 2,500 VNPT transaction points across the country, with VNPT providing sites, construction, high‑speed internet, and data‑SIM connectivity.

The firms aim to deploy 60,000 battery‑swap units by the second quarter of 2026 and eventually expand to 150,000 charging points for electric cars and motorcycles. The rollout supports VinFast EV users, accelerates Vietnam’s electric‑vehicle ecosystem, and contributes to the nation’s Net‑Zero emissions target for 2050.
