Vietnam's Vinhomes expands nature‑positive urban platform as Envision Energy launches 200 MW wind project

Vinhomes, Vietnam's largest listed real‑estate developer, is promoting a nature‑positive urban development model. The company controls a land bank of more than 295 million m², serves about 650,000 residents and reported record revenue of VND 183.1 trillion (US$6.94 billion) in 2025. Its flagship projects include Vinhomes Green Paradise in Can Gio, built on reclaimed coastal land with active ecological restoration, and Vinhomes Global Gate Ha Long, designed to complement the UNESCO‑listed Ha Long Bay.

Envision Energy, a global green‑technology firm, has secured its largest overseas near‑shore wind project in Vietnam together with REE Energy. The 200 MW Phu Cuong 1A/1B project will install 25 EN‑226/8.X turbines, with deliveries beginning in Q2 2027 and grid connection slated for October 2027. Edward Hou, Senior Vice President & President of Envision’s Asia‑Pacific region, said the project shows how “technology can be matched to local resources and long‑term system needs,” illustrating the company’s Future Energy System across Southeast Asia.
