A central component of this strategy is the Vinhomes Green Paradise in Can Gio, a 2,870-hectare smart ecological area in southern Ho Chi Minh City. Designed as an integrated mega-city model, the project aims to transform the region into a global destination for tourism, resorts, and entertainment by leveraging the Can Gio biosphere reserve. Nguyen Thanh Tam, Regional Sales Director at Vinhomes, noted that while the area possesses unique natural assets, it has historically struggled to attract tourists due to limited transport connectivity and entertainment services. The development is intended to serve as a nucleus for the maritime, finance, and logistics economies.
Key flagship features include the 800-hectare Paradise Lagoon and VinWonders Can Gio, a 122-hectare entertainment complex featuring three major parks: Global Festival, Safari, and Water Festival. The site will also host two 18-hole golf courses totaling 155 hectares designed by Robert Trent Jones II and Tiger Woods, alongside the Vinpearl Dream Palace Hotel, various boutique hotels, 137 high-end sea villas, and the Landmark Harbour, a 5-star destination port for cruise ships and superyachts. Vinpearl has announced that key components of the super-urban area are scheduled to open simultaneously on July 1, 2027. Infrastructure support includes a proposed 350 km/h high-speed rail line and the Can Gio bridge to improve accessibility from central Ho Chi Minh City.
