Vietnam's VN-Index falls 40 points as foreign investors sell 2.08 trillion VND in a week
Over five trading sessions, foreign investors recorded a net outflow of approximately 2.08 trillion VND from Vietnam’s equity markets. The selling pressure began at the start of the week, pushing the VN‑Index down to the 1,780‑point range and later back above the 1,800‑point threshold, before ending the week at 1,787.45, a decline of 40.89 points (‑2.24%).
On the HoSE, foreign investors sold a net 2.134 trillion VND, while on the HNX they bought a net 72 billion VND and on the UPCoM they sold a net 17 billion VND. The top net‑buying stocks were VNM (328 billion VND), VHM (201 billion VND), ACB (166 billion VND), VIC (148 billion VND) and HDB (138 billion VND). The most heavily sold stocks were FPT (606 billion VND), CTG (415 billion VND), VPB (389 billion VND), SSI (337 billion VND) and PNJ (304 billion VND).
