Vietravel Airlines launches direct Ho Chi Minh City–Shenzhen flight

Vietravel Airlines announced that it will begin a nonstop service between Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and Shenzhen, China on 15 August 2026. The two‑hour‑fifty‑minute flight will operate in the evening from Ho Chi Minh and in the early morning from Shenzhen, targeting business travelers, participants in trade fairs, supply‑chain missions and tourist groups. The carrier said the route will provide a competitive alternative to itineraries with stops and will strengthen economic links between Vietnam and the Greater Bay Area, supporting the upcoming APEC activities in Shenzhen later in the year. During the launch conference the airline also signed a strategic cooperation agreement and inaugurated its General Sales Agent in Shenzhen, laying groundwork for possible future connections to other Chinese cities such as Chongqing, Kunming, Hangzhou and Nanjing.
