Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna meet CM Vijay
Actors Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna recently met with Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Joseph Vijay in Chennai. The meeting, which took place on October 12, preceded the release of their upcoming period action drama, ‘Ranabaali’, scheduled for October 16. Both actors expressed their admiration for the Chief Minister on social media, with Rashmika noting her respect for his transition from cinema to public office.
Following the meeting, the couple visited the Tirumala Venkateswara Temple in Andhra Pradesh on the morning of October 13. They participated in the ‘Suprabhata Seva’ to offer prayers ahead of their film's release.
Regarding the film itself, ‘Ranabaali’ has reportedly cleared the censorship process with a U/A certificate. This certification has drawn attention as the film's trailer features intense action and violence set against the backdrop of the 1876–78 Madras famine during British colonial rule.
