Vijay Deverakonda targets comeback with Ranabaali

Actor Vijay Deverakonda is preparing for a career comeback with the upcoming period drama Ranabaali, directed by Rahul Sankrityan and starring Rashmika Mandanna. During a pre-release event, Deverakonda expressed confidence in the project, recalling past statements about his determination to return to success despite recent box-office failures.

The film is scheduled for release on October 16, 2026, during the Dasara festive season. To increase accessibility for families, producers have decided to maintain regular ticket prices in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana without implementing hikes.

Speculation has also emerged regarding a potential future collaboration between Deverakonda and director Harish Shankar, who attended the event to support the actor. Additionally, Deverakonda shared personal reflections during promotions, noting that despite his current success, he maintains a middle-class mindset rooted in his past experiences.
