Viktor Lenac shipyard celebrates 130th anniversary

The Viktor Lenac shipyard is celebrating its 130th anniversary, marking a significant milestone despite recent challenges. During a meeting with officials from the Primorsko-goranska County, company leadership highlighted the shipyard's stability and profitability.

Earlier this year, the company navigated a high-tech financial fraud totaling approximately 9 million euros. Despite this setback, Chairman Luka Hrboka stated that business indicators remain optimistic, with docks currently full and plans to maintain profitability through 2027.

Primorsko-goranska County Prefect Ivica Lukanović praised the shipyard's longevity, noting that surviving 130 years is a rare achievement in the business sector. He emphasized the importance of recognizing companies that create significant added value within the Croatian economy.
