Viktor Petrushevski implicated in Kosovo espionage indictment
The Kosovo Special Prosecution has filed charges of espionage and extortion against political analyst Fatmir Sheholi, implicating Viktor Petrushevski, a former advisor to Zoran Zaev, in the case.
According to the indictment, Sheholi communicated via WhatsApp with Petrushevski in December 2024 to organize a physical meeting with Bojan Dimic, an official identified as a member of the Serbian Security Intelligence Agency (BIA). Investigators claim Dimic serves as a director within the Serbian service's anti-terrorism and organized crime directorate.
The indictment further links Petrushevski to a contact identified as ‘Viktor Macedonia’. On August 5, 2025, Sheholi allegedly sent a document marked ‘Top Secret 2’ to this contact. Kosovo media reports suggest the document contained a political and strategic plan regarding the spread of Islamic radicalism in Kosovo and the wider region.
