Vila de Rei achieves 100% compliance in drinking water quality

The Municipality of Vila de Rei has achieved a 100% compliance rate for drinking water quality indicators, according to the Annual Report on Water and Waste Services in Portugal published by the Water and Waste Services Regulatory Authority (ERSAR).

Based on data through December 31, 2025, nearly three hundred parameters were analyzed across various samples collected from the distribution network. All samples met legal conformity standards. Miguel Silva, the Councilor for Water Supply, attributed these results to significant recent investments in the renewal and rehabilitation of the water supply infrastructure.
